Where do I start? I’ll make it brief. I took my first guitar lesson at age 13 and really never looked back after learning how to play songs like “Turn! Turn! Turn!” and “Heartbreak Hotel” from my Mel Bay songbook. I practiced guitar every day throughout high school, then went to college to get a degree in music. After college I formed a few bands, played in the Midwest bar scenes, then got rid of my snow shovel, gloves and thermal underwear and moved to Los Angeles in 2004.
Which brings us to now. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work as a music producer and sound designer, where I mainly compose for film, TV and movie trailers. Also I produce and mix songs for artists and bands. My DAW of choice is Pro Tools and I use both live instruments and a healthy variety of software based instruments for recording.
